Palmore Educational Institutions
In 1890, Dr. William Beverly Palmore, a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church South and a journalist by vocation, made one of his trips to our city.
Walking near his friends' farm, he sadly observed several poor children playing during school time. Asking the reason, he learned that their poverty prevented them from studying.
On that day, from a deep interest in education and his kind heart, moved by the love of God, Plamore decided to contribute generously to the construction of this school.
Nowadays, it's currently designated as a historical heritage site of the city of Chihuahua, for its rich construction and the typical architecture of the time.
